My name is Jimi Sayo and I specialise in Hypnotherapy to achieve mind-set updates that make behaviour and life-style changes achievable and sustainable.  I believe in root cause, a historic event, that has an impact on our behaviour and choices, later in life.

I believe that every client's session should be meaningful, teaching them about themselves, and not just about coping.  Coping implies the issue is still there.  I aim to resolve the issue.  Understanding ourselves means we aren't so hard on ourselves.

How Hypnotherapy Can Help You

People decide to go for hypnotherapy or counselling for a number of reasons. You may have a long-term problem or issue that you want to move on from, or perhaps events in your life that have happened, maybe recently, or so long ago that you have consciously forgotten all about it, even though your unconscious processing of it's implications at the time may still be having an impact on your quality of life today.  These are the kind of areas that I can help you in.

Hypnotherapy can help if you have issues of low confidence or self esteem; if you suffer from anxiety or depression; feel like you are in a slump; or if the thought of another New Year leaves you feeling unsettled.

Whether it's decisions you need to make, or the prospect of marriage or relationship problems; a bereavement or traumatic memory; the limitations of anger management; my techniques help you move on comparatively swiftly.

I love a challenge.  I love to help my clients unravel the unconscious machinery that controls the behaviours and conditions we would like to change.  

No two people are the same.  Even working with sisters with weight loss issues, I would expect each to have their own unique needs.  My therapy approach is NOT one-size fits all.  You are unique.  We shall both work together to keep you that way!

What can you expect?

Expect to have all the myths and misconceptions about hypnotherapy treatments over-turned.  Expect to be amazed at what you discover about yourself.  Expect to be pleasantly surprised at the level of confidentiality, and the extent to which YOU decide how little, or how much you would wish to confide in me.

When you contact me we can have a brief discussion by phone or email and then arrange an initial consultation. During this time we will talk about the issue and what you can realistically expect from hypnosis. If after the initial 30 minute consultation you think we can work together, then we can schedule your agreed therapy plan.

Each session lasts 50 minutes. Most clients benefit from weekly sessions, which I recommend to give you time to process the changes and discoveries you make about yourself.  In subsequent sessions, I use feedback on your progress and realisations since the previous visit, and we reinforce your successes.

Sessions takes place at my home in a comfortable chair with pleasant background music (optional). You can book an appointment during the day or evening.  Weekends may be available.

My practice is based in South West London, close to Streatham Hill Station and a short walk from Balham, and with easy bus access from Brixton, Norbury, Thornton Heath, Norwood and Clapham.  Tulse Hill, Dulwich and Croydon are also fairly close-by.
