The Fear of Public Speaking is also known as Glossophobia.

The comedian, Jerry Seinfeld, once quipped that people’s number one fear is public speaking.

Number two is death.

Which means the average person at a funeral would rather be in the coffin, than delivering the eulogy!

Ambition and career success mean more “opportunities” to speak in public.  However, to a person with Glossophobia, public speaking is no opportunity; it’s a threat.

Some find that their voice starts to croak, tremble, or disappear altogether.  Legs tremble, and palms get sweaty. Mouths can turn so dry it’s almost impossible to get any words out.

Does any of this sound familiar?  Are you in a job or a position that involves having to address an audience or give presentations?  Do you have to give pitches to potential investors; preach to an attentive congregation; or comprise your expertise into a 60 second sound byte before a sea of intent gazes?

Even when it’s a topic that you feel confident in, the delivery is what lets you down.

You can be confident that I can remove that fear of public speaking in one session.  My hypnotherapy service in Streatham Hill, South London, is confidential and discreet as I use my skills to discover the root cause of the problem.

You may be wondering, how many sessions does it take for you to overcome the fear of public speaking.  This varies by individuals.  I recommend a minimum of two sessions.  But with some people, they may find that they require more than two sessions. And some may have a complete cure for their fear of public speaking in just one session.  But compared to other therapies out there, hypnotherapy for fear of public speaking is swift and leaves feelings of increased confidence and self-belief.  You will be looking forward to your next opportunity to speak in public, or give a presentation, or a talk.
